On April 14, 2023, Federal Public Service Commission will announce plans for the Public Notice FPSC Special CSS Completive Exams 2023.

Regarding the public notice issued by the federal Public Service Commission on February 23, 2023, which FPSC posted on its official website in order to conduct the MPT special CSS exam on May 14, 2023.

This time, the Federal Public Service Commission has changed the date. The test will now be managed by the Commission on May 21, 2023.

Theory Test

The series of CSS theory exams are comprised of 12 papers, of which 6 are essential and the other 8 are optional. You need 40% in the compulsory papers and 33% in the optional tests to pass.

An exam with 200 marks is dividing into two papers and any exam carrying 100 has one paper.

Medical Test

The next step for you as a CSS student is to have a medical exam after you finish your written test. The objective of the medical examination is to evaluate the candidate's physical condition. Medical requirements that are not met by applicants will result in their dismissal.

A candidate with a handicap must submit a disability certificate in advance, which should be given by a reputable agency.

The CSS Examination is open to physically challenged candidates in the four disciplines of Pakistan Audit and Account, Postal Service, Commerce and Trade, and Information Services. Candidates who are physically disabled may also be given access to a helper who can support them throughout tests upon specific request.

Viva and Psychology Test

The psychological test of the CSS Exam is intended to assess a candidate's mental aptitude, attitude, and behavioral characteristics in relation to their suitability for the civil service. A combined a score of 300 are awarded for the Viva Voce and Psychological Test. You need to be intelligent and well-spoken in order to succeed in the Viva Voce, which is essentially a test of a candidate's mental capacity and preparedness for CSS.

Eligibility Criteria for Special CSS Exam 2023

HEC officially recognizes all Pakistani citizens who earned a bachelor's degree with at least a second division or grade C.
Candidates may also possess a foreign university degree that is equivalent, which HEC will also accept and recognize. These applicants are qualified to participate in the unique CSS exam.

After reaching the minimum age requirement, all applicants who intend to join the civil service after the CSS examination may take the exam a maximum of three times. The candidates now have a fourth chance to pass the Prime Minister Special CSS Exam, according to the Pakistani PM.
